Booking & Cancellation policy

General cancellation policy:

• Up to 14 days before arrival, cancellation is free of charge. 
• From 14 days up to 7 days before arrival, a cancellation fee of 70% of the total arrangement price will be charged.
• From 7 days before arrival or in case of earlier departure, a cancellation fee of 90 % of the total arrangement price will be charged.

Cancellation policy Christmas & New Year´s Eve:

• Up to 30 days before arrival, cancellation is free of charge.
• From 30 days up to 21 before arrival, a cancellation fee of 30% of the total arrangement price will be charged.
• From 21 days up to 14 days before arrival, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total arrangement price will be charged.
• From 14 days up to 7 days before arrival, a cancellation fee of 70% of the total arrangement price will be charged.
• From 7 days before arrival or in case of earlier departure, a cancellation fee of 90 % of the total arrangement price will be charged.

Deduction for bed and breakfast

We do not give discounts in case of non-consumed meals. There is a deduction from the half board room rate for rooms booked with bed and breakfast only, please ask for the rate when booking your room.

Arrival and departure

Your room is available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. In case of arrival later than 6 p.m. we request that you to let us know. Please note that check-in is possible until 10 p.m. at the latest. Please vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. Subject to availability we can offer free entry to our wellness facilities.

Reservation confirmation

Reservations are only valid if we receive your written confirmation by e-mail as well as a down payment, or your credit card details (Mastercard, Diners, Visa) with expiration date to secure payment. 
Reservations without down payment cannot be guaranteed.

Dogs/Pets

Guests are welcome to bring their four-legged friends along! Pets are accepted exclusively with advance notice before arrival. Rate per pet/night exclusive food: € 22. Please be aware that pets are not allowed in the restaurant, in the wellness area or on the lawn in front of the hotel. Owners will be charged in the event of any damage or soiling caused by their pet.

Local tax

Local tax and tourism charges are € 3,90 per person and night (from 17 years). This tax is not included in the room rate and has to be paid on the spot.

(Non) Smoking at Hotel Kirchheimerhof

We would like to point out that smoking is prohibited in all rooms of Hotel Kirchheimerhof. We have placed ashtrays for you on the balconies and in front of the hotel entrance. The hotel will charge the guest for impurities, damages as well as necessary final cleaning due to smoking in the room.

Travel and cancellation insurance

We recommend guests taking out a comprehensive service package of the Europäische Reiseversicherung for your vacation with us (approx. 5% of the travel price).

Cancellation policy (currently the adapted cancellation conditions apply)

There is no right of withdrawal according to § 11 Abs. 1 FAGG, instead the General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry apply.
Booking cancellations are accepted in writing only. The party may rescind the accommodation agreement by means of a unilateral declaration by 3 months before the agreed date of arrival of the guest without being liable to pay a cancellation fee. Outside the period specified in § 5.5., the party may only rescind the accommodation agreement by means of a unilateral declaration subject to the following cancellation fees: – 40% of the total agreed price by 1 month before the date of arrival; – 70% of the total agreed price by 1 week before the date of arrival; – 90% of the total agreed price within the last week preceding the date of arrival.
